EEF was established on12 Feb 2010 by 2 engineers
who have a common passion to build a green world and keep it sustainable for
the use of the mankind and their future generations. They have been working in different
industries like railway & transportation, power generation and supply,
telecommunication infrastructure, electrical engineering & system
construction, lighting industry and environmental & energy management.
They wanted to push a green action on making a
greener and sustainable world through learning and application of technology to
benefit the mankind. The environmental caring action will enable the earth to live
longer and extend the life on use of resources.
Who can help? – Students, Graduates, Entrepreneurs
The society in HK is crying out for more
innovation and creative ideas from the people. How we can motivate more younger
generations to participate in environmental caring through innovations, we designed
the 3-Tier EEF Pyramid. It starts from getting students in secondary schools
motivated to join in the technology innovation design and application to
benefit the society on environmental issues. They will continue their
development path to study in the universities and higher educational institutes
to build up their knowledge foundations to participate in the environmental
caring through their creative design and innovative applications. After their
graduations, they will get their business or working companies involved in the
environmental caring actions to build a greener world and serve the society.
These new entrepreneurs or managers will in turn helping the students and
graduates to complete their 3-Tier EEF cycle to maintain a sustainable earth.
The 3-Tier EEF Pyramid
Bottom Tier
1 – Secondary School
The
bottom Tier 1 will serve to advocate the learning and application of technology
in Secondary Schools to motivate more students to go for technical innovations
to benefit the society with their invented products’ applications.
Middle Tier
2 – University & Higher Education Institute
The middle Tier 2 will be the participation of
undergrads and postgrads from universities and higher education institutes in
helping the society and Tier 1 students with what they learnt. Tier 2 will
serve to bridge the demand in technology learning from Secondary School to
Higher Education.
Top Tier 3 –
The Industry & Society
The top Tier 3 will be the industry and
corporations piping graduates to exercise the environmental caring action
through their invented products and services.
It is a charitable body aiming at building a
green world through Technology and Innovation.
